JP leads the TDOT Aeronautics Division in support of a safe and efficient system for air transportation. He is driven by being disciplined and making steady progress towards investments in infrastructure, the continued growth and development of staff, and building industry partnerships. Since joining the Aeronautics Division in 2017, JP has overseen numerous statewide programs and initiatives. He was formerly the Assistant Director of Development, where he managed the Planning, Environmental, and Project/Program Management aspects of Tennessee’s public-use aviation system and Airport Improvement Program under the FAA’s State Block Grant Program. JP is a Kentucky native and has 15 years of professional experience with TDOT. He’s also a Licensed Engineer
