J.D. serves as the UAS Program Administrator at Alabama DOT. He has been with ALDOT for more than 34 years and has a broad range of experience within various bureaus, including Materials & Test, Design, Transportation Planning, and Maintenance. JD developed and implemented ALDOT’s UAS Program, and due to the demand and expansion of the UAS Program, in January 2016, a UAS Section was created, and J.D. was designated to lead that section as ALDOT’s UAS Program Administrator. He attended Troy State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1986.
