WisDOT's Safety First Initiative - Maryne Taute, Wisconsin DOT, and Ethan Severson, Wisconsin DOT

In March 2023, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation began the Safety First Initiative, a shared space for WisDOT staff to fully utilize safety-related knowledge and available resources, actively inform our partners of the department’s safety work, conduct research to support initiatives, and implement best practices.
