This presentation examines Ohio's approach to integrating electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure with adoption trends. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) analyzes comprehensive registration and charger deployment data using GIS tools to explore patterns in EV adoption, while also discussing the challenges and lessons learned from the implementation of the NEVI program. The presentation will also compare the deployment timeline of EV chargers with EV adoption data to determine which comes first – the charger or the EV.
