Corridor plans are a powerful tool to connect statewide goals with highway project scopes. MnDOT will share recent work to develop a model for prioritizing locations for corridor planning integrating statewide objectives of transportation safety, critical connections, climate action, healthy equitable communities and system stewardship. This model will guide MnDOT’s use of planning resources and subsequent project development toward locations with greatest opportunity to achieve multiple state objectives.
