Tony joins MDOT after serving as Executive Director for Blue Water Baltimore. He also is a former member of the Maryland General Assembly where he represented the 41st legislative district in Baltimore City and served on the Appropriations Committee, the Environment and Transportation Committee, and the Chesapeake Bay Commission. His prior state government positions include Chief of Staff for the Maryland Transit Administration, Senior Advisor for MDOT, and Director of Community Outreach for the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives before also becoming its Chief of Staff. Tony holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Frostburg State University and a Certificate in Strategic Public Relations and Integrated Communications from Towson University.
