Mr. Ellis (Rick) received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University in 1992.  Immediately upon graduation, he relocated to Little Rock, AR where he started his career in the Bridge Division of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (Now ARDOT).  He was promoted to his current position of State Bridge Engineer in 2014.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Arkansas and serves on the AASHTO COBS Seismic Technical Committee. Rick has been married to his wife, Cheryl, since 1994 and they have 4 children. They are active members of The Summit Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
