Matt Mihalevich is a distinguished alumnus of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and a professional landscape architect. Matt has been with the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas for the past twenty years and is responsible for all aspects of the development of the trail system including planning, funding, design, property acquisition, construction management, maintenance and public outreach. Fayetteville enjoys an expansive and much adored trail system with over 55 miles of shared-use paved trails. In addition to work in Fayetteville, Matt also serves as the Chairman of the Northwest Arkansas Active Transportation Committee, serves on the Razorback Greenway Alliance and assists with the ongoing development of trails and bikeways throughout the region. Matt was involved in the development of the 40-mile-long Razorback Regional Greenway which is the backbone trail connecting Northwest Arkansas. Most recently, Matt has been managing a growth in trail development spurring from the Fayetteville voter approved additional funding for trails.
