Description: This panel will discuss options that states are pursuing to address the projected decline in gas tax revenue due to increased fuel efficiency and the adoption of electric vehicles.  The discussion will start by framing the problem with revenue projections at federal and state levels, and then share learnings from pilots and programs on a variety of options, including mileage-based user fees, kWh fees, and electric vehicle registration fees.
