Description: The I-69 Ohio River Crossing Project (ORX) has been decades in the making. After investing nearly $4 billion to implement the overall I-69 corridor in Kentucky and Indiana, by the end of 2025, all that will remain is the critical gap – the Ohio River Crossing between Henderson and Evansville. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) have each advanced accelerated portions of the ORX project within their boundaries, and Section 2 will construct the Ohio River Bridge, finally completing the I-69 corridor in each state.
