Giving Thanks (A message from our President)
As I sat around the table this weekend, watching family and friends enjoy a meal and share in the laughter from something they saw on the internet, I started to appreciate why we celebrate Thanksgiving. It is not just for the great deal that comes with shopping the next day, it's not just for the long weekend off from work, and it's not just for seeing our families on the fourth Thursday in November...while all those things truly are great. Thanksgiving is truly about giving thanks for the blessings we enjoy.
For me, those blessings, without question, are my family and friends. But, that genuinely extends to my family and friends in the industry as well. I have spent nearly three decades pushing through struggles, celebrating successes, comforting and being comforted in tough times, and sharing in the lives of so many wonderful people in our Transportation family. I always know that when times are tough, one of you will be there to lift me up - and for that I am thankful.
I am looking forward to what 2025 has in store for all of us. Please know that if there is a way you think we can help you through any of its challenges, don't hesitate to reach out. Because we are family and we will be there to answer the call.
