The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) launched its TSMO Program to improve transportation safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness through a range of strategies, including the development of a specialized workforce and the enhancement of operational practices. Recognizing the need to integrate TSMO skills, NDOT began restructuring its organizational framework during the TSMO Program planning process. NDOT and its stakeholders reviewed the existing organizational structure and identified action items to align efforts in preparation for the TSMO Staffing and Workforce Development Plan (SWDP)
