Tracy Larkin Thomason is the Director of the Nevada Department of Transportation with over 25 years of experience in transportation leadership, industry collaboration, and strategic planning. She is a transportation innovator, applying her unique and diverse experiences in visionary leadership to advance a future transportation network that benefits all. While spending most of her career at the Nevada Department of Transportation, she also spent 2 years in Washington, D.C., working for ITS-America.

Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a master’s degree in business administration, both from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a Certified Public Manager, a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Nevada.
