As a former Materials and Pavement Design Engineer for the Colorado DOT, Todd Gonser will offer a unique perspective on the topic of Pavement Preservation through Hot In-Place Recycling. He has enjoyed working on both sides of this industry. At the DOT, he was charged with finding, developing, and implementing cost-effective surface treatment strategies for highways in Colorado that would ultimately give taxpayers efficient, long-lasting, quality pavements for transportation. Now as a contractor, he lends his expertise to helping local agencies and DOTs throughout the Western US find, develop, and implement the Hot In-Place strategy as an effective and enviro-friendly option for those very same Materials and Pavement Design Engineers. Todd is a Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado.
