Elizabeth Prestwood, Innovation Lead for Improve I-70 Program at Missouri Department of Transportation, has 17 years experience working in Transportation Planning at state DOTs. She started her career with the Texas Department of Transportation in Austin. After moving to Missouri she took a position with the Missouri Department of Transportation in 2015. She is experienced in innovative financing, federal grant management, transportation planning and program delivery. Elizabeth served as Policy and Innovation Program manager for 6 years where she oversaw the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program, managed numerous federal grants and developed proposals for transportation funding policy. In 2023 she was selected to be the Innovation Lead on the Improve I-70 Program. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Public Administration from Texas State University at San Marcos.
