Matt Junak is an Associate Fellow at HNTB in their Intelligent Mobility Solutions practice, focusing his career on designing and deploying technology-based solutions for both public and private sector clients. Matt has 19 years of experience in ITS & CAV design and system management, systems engineering, transportation planning, traffic engineering, highway design, transit technologies, and project management. Matt is active in the TRB and ITS America communities and is involved in committee activities, including ITS, freeway operations, active traffic management (ATM), Digital Twins, and emerging technologies. Matt has a BSCE and Masters in Transportation from Michigan State University.
